MOVILIDAD A GRECIA

DÍA 1

Hola. Hoy ha comenzado nuestra aventura por tierras helénicas. El día ha amanecido gris y lluvioso. Tras una pequeña aventura para llegar al colegio (era día de huelga en metro y tren) nos ha resultado un poco complicado llegar.

  Cuando hemos llegado nos ha recibido Manolis Despotidis, el director del colegio nº 5. Tras algunas presentaciones de algunos maestros y maestras del centro, y la entrega de obsequios que traíamos de Leganés, algunos de ellos realizados por los niños. Nos hemos dirigido a conocer algunas dependencias del centro y hemos estado con los alumnos de primero.

   Al terminar la clase nos han acompañado a la sala de profesores y allí hemos conocido al resto del claustro (maestros del colegio nº 5 y nº 10) ya que estos dos colegio comparten el edificio, incluido el patio.

  Cuando ha terminado el recreo hemos estado en la clase de 4º. Allí hemos asistido a una clase de inglés y a una clase de historia de Grecia. Después de esta clase han tenido su segundo recreo donde hemos aprovechado para el intercambio de información con maestros del centro. Tras el cual nos hemos dirigido a otro aula de 1º donde hemos aprendido algo de griego, ya que están aprendiendo la lectura y escritura de su idioma. Después de esta sesión, se han dirigido de nuevo al patio y han disfrutado de su tercer recreo del día, algo que nos ha sorprendido ya que después de éste descanso solo quedaba una sesión más. En la cual estos mismos alumnos han recibido una sesión de plástica.

Hello Everyone!

   We have started our visit in Greece today. It has been raining all day 💧

After some difficulties (there was a strike in the metro and train service) we  arrived to 5th Primary school.

  We  met Mr Despotidis, the school headmaster. He introduced us some teachers and we  gave them all the presents we brought from Leganés, including the one our kids have done. We visited some school facilities and we saw one  language class in 1st grade.

  Then, we went to the staff room, there was a break for the students, and we  met the rest of the teachers. There are two schools (5th and 10th) sharing the same building, including the playground area.

   After the break, we spent some time with 4th grade. We  observed an English class and a History lesson. After these two periods, students had another break where we had some time to share some information with some teachers.

   When the second break finished, we visited the second group of 1st graders, where we  learnt some greek words  with the kids as they are learning how to read and write.

   Then, the students had the third break of the day. We were surprised as they only had another lesson afterwards. Finally we observed and Arts & Crafts lesson in the 1st grade class.
