MOVILIDAD A GRECIA

DÍA 5

   Hoy ha sido nuestro último día de visita al centro. Cuando hemos llegado esta mañana, el director y jefe de estudios nos estaban esperando para informarnos que debido a las intensas lluvias de los últimos día se habían suspendido las clases en todo el área metropolitana de Atenas.

   

   Esta visita nos ha resultado muy interesante y esperamos seguir en contacto con la escuela.

   Today, it was our last day at 5th Primary school. When we arrived at school this morning, the School Principal and the Head of Studies were waiting for us to informed us that due to the heavy rains the classes were suspended in  the whole area of Athens.

   This visit has been very interesting and we hope to keep in touch with the Greek school.

DÍA 4

¡Buenas tardes! 

   Cuarto y penúltimo día por Atenas. Hoy hemos conocido a los alumnos de las clases que nos faltaba por conocer, los de segundo y cuarto de primaria. 

   Los de segundo tenían clase de lectura. Han estado haciendo lectura grupal, igual que lo hacemos nosotros, y después con la maestra han estado leyendo un texto que hablaba de la Conmemoración del acto que se celebra mañana. Han utilizado este texto para realizar una lectura comprensiva. 

   Posteriormente hemos estado con los alumnos de 4º, los cuales estaban trabajando la división, la maestra nos ha explicado que se llama "Diaíresi".Les he dicho que yo daba clase de matemáticas también en cuarto y me han preguntado si se hacían igual que aquí. Y sí, se hacen igual.

   Por últimos hemos asistido, también en cuarto, a una clase de historia, en la que la maestra les estaba explicando la historia de Esparta y de cómo vivían en aquella época.

   Hoy ha amanecido un día muy gris, ha estado toda la mañana lloviendo y no han podido salir al patio. Igual que nosotros se han quedado el tiempo de recreo en sus clases con sus maestros y lo ha informado la directora por la megafonía del centro.

Good evening!

   It is our Fourth  day of our visit to Athens! We have been with the last group sof students we hadn't met before, 2nd and 4th grade.

   Second graders has a reading class. First they read aloud one by one, They did it as we use to do at our school. When students finished reading the first text, they read the story about the event they will celebrate tomorrow at school. Teacher asked some questions to her students in order to test students' comprehension. They finish the class coloring a picture related to the event.

   Later, we went to fourth grade to see a Maths class. Students were practising the division, The Kiría ( teacher) told us they call this Maths operation "Diaíresi". Manuela explained to them that she is a Math teacher in fourth grade in Spain and, that in Spain we do division in the same way.

   

  Finally, in the same class, they had History. They learned about spartans, where and how they lived in Ancient History.

  It was a rainy and grey day. It rained all day so Students could not go to the playground during their breaks. They stayed in their classes with their teachers- The Headteacher announced it through the PA system.

  

DÍA 3

   ¡Hola a todos! Es nuestro tercer día en la escuela y seguimos conociendo nuevos alumnos. Por la mañana estuvimos en las 2 clases de sexto donde observamos una clase de griego y una de plástica, donde han realizado algunos dibujos y nos los han entregado para llevarlos al cole.

   Después del primer recreo hemos visto un ensayo de la conmemoración que realizarán el próximo viernes para recordar a los estudiantes fallecidos en la revuelta de 1973 contra la junta de coroneles.

   Por último hemos presentado a la clase de sexto nuestras tradiciones con la ayuda del libro que los alumnos de nuestro colegio elaboraron. Hemos terminado la jornada en el aula de tercero observando una clase de inglés.

   Hello everyone!

   We keep meeting new pupils from the Greek school. We started the day visiting 2 of the classes of 6th grade were they had Greek and Arts, during this class pupils made some drawings they gave us to bring to our school.

    After the first break, we saw one of the rehearsals for the event they will held on Friday in memory of the late students who fought against the Greek Military Junta in 1973.

    We finished our day with another 6th grade classs where we explained some Spanish traditions with the book our students made and we answered lot of questions as they are investigating for a project in the English class. Finally we observed an English class in 3rd grade.

DIA 2

   Hoy hemos vivido un día mitológico. Hemos ido al teatro con los alumnos de 3º. El teatro estaba a las afueras de Atenas. En la función les han explicado los 12 Dioses del Olimpo a través de canciones y de distintas actividades, muchas de ellas interactivas.

  

 Al llegar, en los asientos que iban a ocupar, había disfraces y máscaras de distintas aves que representaban a los dioses que se han puesto. Y con ello han participado activamente en la obra de teatro. 

   Ha sido una actividad muy interesante y nos hemos dado cuenta de que hay gran cantidad de  palabras que utilizamos todos los días que provienen del griego y que hemos sido capaces de entender por la similitud fonológica.

   We had a mythological day today!! We went to the theatre with the 3 classes of 3rd grade. The theatre was located in a suburb near the city of Athens. The play was about the 12 Olympic gods, we  have learned their names and stories through songs and different activities, most of them were interactions among students and performers.

   When we arrived there were masks and customes ready for each students on their seats. There were different types of birds representing some Olympian gods.

  We have enjoyed the play a lot and we have realised the amount of daily words we used that have a greek origin. We were amazed to understand so many words!!

MOVILIDAD A GRECIA

DÍA 1

Hola. Hoy ha comenzado nuestra aventura por tierras helénicas. El día ha amanecido gris y lluvioso. Tras una pequeña aventura para llegar al colegio (era día de huelga en metro y tren) nos ha resultado un poco complicado llegar.

  Cuando hemos llegado nos ha recibido Manolis Despotidis, el director del colegio nº 5. Tras algunas presentaciones de algunos maestros y maestras del centro, y la entrega de obsequios que traíamos de Leganés, algunos de ellos realizados por los niños. Nos hemos dirigido a conocer algunas dependencias del centro y hemos estado con los alumnos de primero.

   Al terminar la clase nos han acompañado a la sala de profesores y allí hemos conocido al resto del claustro (maestros del colegio nº 5 y nº 10) ya que estos dos colegio comparten el edificio, incluido el patio.

  Cuando ha terminado el recreo hemos estado en la clase de 4º. Allí hemos asistido a una clase de inglés y a una clase de historia de Grecia. Después de esta clase han tenido su segundo recreo donde hemos aprovechado para el intercambio de información con maestros del centro. Tras el cual nos hemos dirigido a otro aula de 1º donde hemos aprendido algo de griego, ya que están aprendiendo la lectura y escritura de su idioma. Después de esta sesión, se han dirigido de nuevo al patio y han disfrutado de su tercer recreo del día, algo que nos ha sorprendido ya que después de éste descanso solo quedaba una sesión más. En la cual estos mismos alumnos han recibido una sesión de plástica.

Hello Everyone!

   We have started our visit in Greece today. It has been raining all day 💧

After some difficulties (there was a strike in the metro and train service) we  arrived to 5th Primary school.

  We  met Mr Despotidis, the school headmaster. He introduced us some teachers and we  gave them all the presents we brought from Leganés, including the one our kids have done. We visited some school facilities and we saw one  language class in 1st grade.

  Then, we went to the staff room, there was a break for the students, and we  met the rest of the teachers. There are two schools (5th and 10th) sharing the same building, including the playground area.

   After the break, we spent some time with 4th grade. We  observed an English class and a History lesson. After these two periods, students had another break where we had some time to share some information with some teachers.

   When the second break finished, we visited the second group of 1st graders, where we  learnt some greek words  with the kids as they are learning how to read and write.

   Then, the students had the third break of the day. We were surprised as they only had another lesson afterwards. Finally we observed and Arts & Crafts lesson in the 1st grade class.

   

Skype con nuestros amigos del colegio Sp 46 de Polonia

El pasado martes volvimos a encontrarnos con nuestros amigos de la escuela Sp 46 de Czestochowa (Polonia). Algunos de nuestros alumnos se conectaron con los alumnos polacos en una videoconferencia, en la que compartieron cómo celebraron Halloween la semana pasada. Cantamos y bailamos las canciones de Halloween y hablamos sobre las celebraciones de Halloween en España y Polonia. ¡Nos lo pasamos genial! ¡Hasta la próxima!

Last Tuesday we met again with our friends from the Sp 46 school in Czestochowa (Poland). Some of our students contacted the Polish students in a video conference, in which they shared how they celebrated Halloween last week. We sang and danced the Halloween songs and talked about the Halloween celebrations in Spain and Poland. We had a great time! Until next time!

VISITA DE LOS PROFESORES DE LA ESCUELA SP 46 (CZESTOCHOWA) A NUESTRO CENTRO – ABRIL 2017

El 24 de abril de 2017 fue el primer día de la visita que nos hicieron cinco de los profesores de la escuela Sp 46 de Czestochowa, en Polonia, a la que previamente habían ido Sonia y Álex en octubre del año pasado. El director Jannusz y otras cuatro profesoras, Renata, Beata, Jystine y Agata, vinieron a nuestro colegio, el CEIP Carmen Conde de Leganés, para ver cómo trabajábamos en las aulas, cómo funcionaba nuestro proyecto bilingüe y el resto de proyectos que llevamos a cabo, y para conocer más sobre nuestra cultura.

En su primer día queríamos recibirlos con mucho cariño, para que junto a nosotros se sintiesen como en casa durante los cinco días que iban a pasar en Leganés. De esta forma, les recibimos todos los profesores y alumnos del cole, saludándoles con las poquitas palabras en polaco que conocíamos, y los alumnos de 3º realizaron un baile polaco de la región de Cracovia en su honor. Además, tuvimos la gran suerte y privilegio de contar con Ilona, abuela de una alumna de 6º del año pasado, la cual se había criado en Polonia y nos facilitó enormemente la comunicación con nuestros invitados. ¡Muchas gracias por todo, Ilona!

Ese mismo día por la tarde también celebrábamos el día del libro, y pudimos enseñarles a nuestros invitados los libros y cuentos que habíamos leído sobre distintos lugares del mundo. Al día siguiente realizaron una pequeña visita por Leganés, y también fueron recibidos en el ayuntamiento por nuestro alcalde Santiago Llorente. El miércoles se fueron de excursión a Toledo con los alumnos de 5º curso, donde pudieron disfrutar de la preciosa ciudad medieval. El resto del tiempo se pasaron por las distintas aulas de Primaria e Infantil para que viesen cómo trabajábamos en las distintas áreas. 

Finalmente, no podemos olvidar todas las actividades que hicimos al terminar las clases. Tenemos que agradecer la colaboración de algunas familias del colegio, que tras la visita a Toledo recibieron a nuestros amigos polacos con un ágape de categoría, ¡estaba todo riquísimo! Además de enseñarles un poco nuestra ciudad, Leganés, el miércoles aprovechamos el importantísimo partido que jugaba nuestro equipo y Jannusz se fue con nosotros a Butarque. ¡Parece que nos trajo suerte, y hoy podemos decir que el Lega es de primera! Y no solo eso, porque también estuvimos visitando Madrid: la plaza del Sol y la plaza Mayor, el palacio Real, el templo de Debod y plaza de España, el Museo del Prado… ¡No paramos! La verdad, fue una experiencia increíble, y al despedirnos teníamos claro que no íbamos a decir adiós, sino hasta luego. No nos cabe duda de que seguiremos en contacto, para que todos (profesores, padres y alumnos) podamos seguir compartiendo y enriqueciéndonos de este intercambio de culturas.

On April 24 2017, it was the first day of the visit of five teachers from the Sp 46 school in Czestochowa (Poland), which Sonia and Alex had previously attended in October last year. The head teacher Jannusz and four other teachers, Renata, Beata, Jystine and Agata, came to our school, the CEIP Carmen Conde (Leganés), to see how we work in the different classes, how our bilingual project and the rest of projects we carry out work, and to know more about our culture.

On their first day we wanted to receive them with much affection, so they would feel at home during the five days that they were going to stay in Leganés. In this way, all the teachers and students of the school received them, greeting them with the few words in Polish that we knew, and the students of 3rd grade performed a Polish dance of the region of Krakow in their honor. In addition, we had the great luck and privilege of having Ilona, the grandmother of a 6th grader from last year, who had grown up in Poland and greatly facilitated our communication with our guests. Thank you very much for everything, Ilona!

That same day in the afternoon we also celebrated the book day, and we showed our guests the books and stories we had read about different places in the world. The next day they were visiting Leganés, and they were also received in the town hall by our mayor Santiago Llorente. On Wednesday they went on a trip to Toledo with the students of 5th grade, where they could enjoy the beautiful medieval city. The rest of the time they went through the different classrooms of Primary and Infant Education so that they could see how we worked in the different areas. 

Finally, we cannot forget all the activities we did after school. We sincerely thank the collaboration of some school families, who received our Polish friends with an outstanding cocktail after the visit to Toledo, it was all delicious! On Wednesday there also was a very important match for our football team, and Jannusz went with us to Butarque. It seems that he brought us luck, and today we can say that "Lega" is still in first division! And not only that, because we were also visiting Madrid: Plaza del Sol, Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace, the Temple of Debod and Plaza de España, the Prado Museum... We didn't stop! To say the truth, it was an incredible experience, and in the farewell we were sure that we weren't going to say goodbye, we'd better say see you soon. We have no doubt that we will keep in contact, so that all (teachers, parents and students) will be able to continue sharing and enriching us from this exchange of cultures.

Winssen es un pueblo lleno de bonitos rincones escondidos... ¿queréis ver algunos? 
También es un pueblo lleno de gente encantadora que nos ha mostrado su cariño a diario a lo largo de sus calles. En este punto queremos dar las gracias a la familia Janssen - Groenen por toda su atención y cariño, por habernos hecho formar parte de su propia familia.

Winssen is a village full of beautiful hidden places... would you like to have a look at some of them? 
Besides that, it's a village full of nice people who has shown us daily caring in every corner of its streets. Here we want to thank you the Janssen - Groenen family for all their attention and love, for turning us part of their own family.

QUINTO Y ÚLTIMO DÍA EN EL BASSISSCHOOL DE HOLANDA

Hoy hemos pasado el día con los grupos 7 y 8 (11 y 12 años). En la clase hay 29 alumnos y su profesor se llama Jesper. Una alumna en prácticas acompañaba al maestro, Nikki.
La clase ha comenzado con 15 minutos de lectura tutorizada con otros alumnos del colegio. Después han vuelto a clase y la alumna en prácticas ha hablado con los niños de arte: "El grito" de Edvard Munch. Los alumnos han dado una descripción del mismo y han debatido sobre lo que expresaba el cuadro.
Después les hemos mostrado el libro que habéis hecho para ellos y les ha gustado mucho. Nos han hecho preguntas y les daba mucha envidia el patio tan grande que tenemos.
La próxima semana los alumnos del grupo 7 y 8 tienen un campeonato de fútbol y hoy han ido a otro pueblo en bicicleta a entrenar.
Después de comer una madre del centro ha venido a la clase a dar una charla sobre la importancia de asegurar las pertenencias para prevenir riesgos.
Para terminar el día, la clase se ha dividido en dos grupos: el grupo 7 ha salido del aula para realizar tareas sobre educación vial, mientras el grupo 8 ensayaba el musical que representarán al finalizar el curso... ¡es un secreto! y nosotras no pensamos decir ni una palabra de los ensayos. Seguro que va a ser un gran éxito.
Como hoy es nuestro último día, queremos agradecer a toda la comunidad escolar: dirección, profesores, padres y en especial a los alumnos... toda su colaboración y cariño. ¡MUCHAS GRACIAS Y NO OLVIDAREMOS ESTA EXPERIENCIA!

QUINTO Y ÚLTIMO DÍA EN EL BASSISSCHOOL DE HOLANDA

Today we have been with groups 7 and 8 (11 and 12 years). In the classroom there are 29 students and their teacher is Jesper. In the class there was also a teacher-to-be student in her practice period, Nikki.
The day has started with 15 minutes of tutorial reading among the students from groups 3 to 8. After that, Nikki has talked about art: "The Shout" by Edvard Munch. Students have given a description of the painting and have shared different opinions about the meaning of the picture.
Later, we have shown your book to the children. They liked it a lot. They have asked a lot of questions and they were jelous of our playground. 
Next week students from groups 7 and 6 are taking part in a football tournament against other schools, so today they have ridden their bicycles to another village for training.
After having lunch, one mum from school has visit the classroom and has taught students insurance lessons to promote financial responsible behaviour.
To finish with, the classroom has divided into two groups: group 7 has gone out of the classroom to work in safety behaviour in the road, while group 8 has practised their musical show which will be performed at the end of the course... it's a secret! and we are not going to say a word about it. It's going to be a great success for sure!
As today is our last day, we want to thank all educational community: headmistress, teachers, parents and specially students... all their help and caring. THANK YOU VERY MUCH AND WE WILL NOT FORGET THIS EXPERIENCE!

CUARTO DÍA EN BASSISSCHOOL DE HOLANDA

En nuestro cuarto día en la escuela hemos estado con los alumnos de los grupos 5 - 6. En la clase hay 25 alumnos y su profesora se llama Karin.
A primera hora de la mañana tenían clase de música con el especialista.Han cantado canciones acompañados por el acordeón del profesor y también han aprendido a tocar alguna canción con los xilófonos.
Nada más terminar les hemos mostrado el libro del cole y los niños nos han hecho muchas preguntas. Les ha encantado nuestro patio.
Después del recreo han trabajado matemáticas en sus tablets y por último todos los alumnos del centro se han reunido en el hall para presentar un proyecto solidario que están llevando a cabo. En breve realizarán una carrera para recaudar dinero y poder destinar parte, a la obra benéfica que los niños elijan mayoritariamente.
Por la tarde han tendio clase de historia, donde han realizado por grupos diferentes proyectos sobre la Edad Media.
El día ha finalizado asistiendo a la clase de Educación Física. Dentro de unos días los niños tendrán un torneo de fútbol contra otros colegios de la zona y se están entrenando. ¡Vamos, Winssen!
Nos lo hemos pasado genial aprendiendo y colaborando con los niños.

Cuando han terminado las clases, nos hemos reunido con la directora del centro
Berenike, la cual nos ha informado con detalle tanto del funcionamiento del centro como del sistema educativo holandés.Ha contestado amablemente a todas nuestras preguntas y se ha interesado también por nuestro centro y el proyecto europeo que estamos llevando a cabo. 

FOURTH DAY AT BASSISSCHOOL IN WINSSEN
Today we have spent our fourth day with groups 5 and 6. They are 25 students and their teacher is called Karin.
Once they have arrived they have had their music lesson with a teacher who played the accordion, so that students could follow the rhythm while singing and performing body percussion. Besides that, students have played a song with xylophone following a musical score.
After the music lesson we have shown the students our book and they have asked us a lot of questions. They loved our playground.
After their break, they have worked mathematics in their tablets. 
Later on, all students have met at the hall to present some charity projects the school is involved in. In a short time a race will take place in Winssen to collect money, part of the money will be donated to the charity project chosen by children at school.
In the afternoon they have studied history, they were working in different projects about the Middle ages.
Finally they have had PE, in few days they are having a football tournament agains other schools and they are training. Go, Winssen!
We have had a great time playing, learning and collaborating with kids.

After school time, we have had a meeting with the school headmistress, Berenike, who has given us information about both how school works and the Dutch educational system. She has been really nice answering all our questions. She has also been interested in our school and the Erasmus + project we are working in.

TERCER DÍA EN LA ESCUELA BASSISSCHOOL DE HOLANDA

Hoy hemos pasado toda la mañana con los alumnos de los grupos 4-5 (8-9 años).En clase son 24 alumnos y la profesora del grupo se llama Hedria.
Nada más llegar, los alumnos han cogido un libro de lectura para realizar una actividad conjunta con los alumnos de los grupos 3 a 8. Los alumnos mayores tutorizan a los más pequeños durante la lectura. 
Terminada esta actividad hemos presentado el libro del cole a los chicos, los cuales estaban muy interesados y nos han hecho muchas preguntas sobre nuestro cole y país.
Luego han comenzado la sesión de weektaak con el uso de las tablets, que se introducen en este nivel, hasta la hora del recreo.
Finalmente todo el cole ha asistido a la representación teatral de los alumnos de los grupos 6-7: "Wie is de mol", que está basada en un programa nacional de televisión. Los padres también estaban invitados a verlo. Ha sido muy divertido.
Otro gran día en Holanda.
Por cierto, los alumnos de este grupo os dan las gracias por haberles hecho llegar el libro del cole y contarles tantas cosas.

THIRD DAY AT BASSISSCHOOL IN WINSSEN

Today we have spent the day with groups 4 and 5 (8 and 9 years old). There are 24 students and their teacher is called Hedria.
Once they got into the classroom they have shared a book with an older student from groups 6 to 8. The oldest student helps the youngest one to learn to read.
Once the activity was finished, we have shown them the book we have brought from school, they were really interested and they have asked us a lot of questions about the school and Spain.
Then they have started their weektaak time. From group 4 onwards they use tablets to perform these activities.
Finally, we have attended a performance from groups 6 and 7: "Wie is de mol" about a Dutch TV programme. The whole school was there and parents have been invited to see it. We had a lot of fun.
It's been another great day in the Netherlands.
By the way, groups 4 and 5 want to thank you for having done such a great book and telling them plenty of things about the school and Spain.
